You can enjoy your favorite pizza now as a Gluten Free Option by request. Sizes offered are 9” and 12”.

Our Gluten Free Crust is certified Non GMO, Dairy Free, Egg Free, Soy Free, Nut Free and Vegan. Your choice of toppings may change that so please choose toppings carefully if considering an allergy.

Gluten Free Pizza Crust Ingredients:

  • Water

  • Rice Flour

  • Potato Starch

  • Tapioca Starch

  • Expeller-pressed Canola Oil

  • Sugar

  • Molasses

  • Bakers Yeast

  • Sea Salt

  • Xanthan Gum

  • Leavening (Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Corn Starch, Monocalcium Phosphate)

  • Calcium Propionate

 

Gluten Free Pasta

You can enjoy your favorite pasta now as a Gluten Free option by special request. Our regular entrees are served with a side salad and garlic bread, but our gluten free pastas will be served with only a side salad. Any chicken or veal entrees will not be floured or breaded and will be grilled instead.

How We prepare our Gluten Free Products

These are some of the precautions that we do or do not take at Tony’s regarding Gluten Free food preparation. Please consider this information when deciding if our methods can properly cater to you and your allergy and feel free to reach out to us directly with any more questions.

  • We do train food preparation staff on Gluten Free preparation and avoiding cross contamination

  • We do purchase our gluten free pizza crust from a strictly gluten free facility. It is packaged and vacuum sealed there and sent to our location.

  • We do use separate utensils when cutting or touching an gluten free pizza crust and lay the crust on a screen so it does not contact the stone in our ovens directly.

  • We do purchase our gluten free pasta from a large national supplier which prepares its product on a gluten free line. It is boxed at their location and sent to our location.

  • We do use separate utensils when touching gluten free pasta and cook the pasta in newly boiled water which has not been cross-contaminated with other pastas.

  • We do NOT prepare gluten free products in a separate area of the restaurant, they are prepared near other products while avoiding cross contamination.

  • There ARE flour particles in the air due to the volume of pizzas we cook daily with traditional flour.

  • Gluten Free crust is NOT cooked in a separate pizza oven.

Please consider these methods especially if your allergy is severe. We are not a gluten free facility or prepare on specific gluten free lines but we do take necessary precautions to avoid cross-contamination.
